Dr. Barber has made the Phoenix area her home for nearly two decades. She and her husband are raising their two young children alongside two gentle greyhounds and two curious cats. She earned her Bachelor of Science and Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degrees from Michigan State University before settling in the desert.

After years in emergency and general veterinary medicine, Dr. Barber felt called to create a practice that honors the unique bond between pets and their families in their most vulnerable moments. This inspiration led to the founding of Forever Loved, where every goodbye is treated with the compassion, respect, and dignity it deserves.
