Dr. Barber has made the Phoenix area her home for nearly two decades. She shares her life with her husband, two young children, two gentle greyhounds, and two enigmatic cats. She earned both her Bachelor of Science and Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degrees from Michigan State University before moving to the desert.

After years in emergency and general veterinary medicine, Dr. Barber felt called to create a practice that honors the unique bond between pets and their families in their most vulnerable moments. This inspiration led to the founding of Forever Loved, where every goodbye is treated with the compassion, respect, and dignity it deserves.
