A Peaceful Goodbye at Home
Saying goodbye at home allows your pet to remain in a familiar place, surrounded by the people and things they know best. Each appointment is unrushed, with time for questions, quiet moments together, and gentle sedation to allow your pet to become deeply relaxed and comfortable before saying goodbye.
I provide in-home euthanasia appointments in San Tan Valley Monday through Friday during the daytime, including Johnson Ranch and surrounding communities.
What to Expect During an In-Home Appointment
Every appointment is centered around keeping your pet comfortable and allowing your family the time and privacy you need. I will begin with gentle sedation, allowing your pet to become deeply relaxed and comfortable. You may hold your pet, sit beside them, offer favorite treats, or simply spend quiet time together.
Once your pet is fully relaxed, I will administer the euthanasia medication. You are welcome to have family members and other pets present if that feels right for your family. There is no need to rush afterward, and I will give you time to say goodbye before helping with aftercare arrangements.
Aftercare Options Following Your Pet’s Appointment
If you would like me to help with aftercare, I can coordinate cremation and respectfully transport your pet with me following the appointment. Communal, individual, and private cremation options are available through Lasting Paws Pet Memorial Services.
Communal cremation is for families who do not wish to have their pet’s remains returned. Pets are cremated together, and the cremated remains are respectfully scattered in Southern Arizona.
Individual cremation allows your pet’s remains to be returned to you. Pets are cremated alongside others while remaining physically separated using a barrier throughout the process. A choice of standard urn and a memorial terracotta pawprint are included.
Private cremation also allows your pet’s remains to be returned to you and takes place in a dedicated chamber with no other pets present. A choice of standard urn and a memorial terracotta pawprint are included.
